The rooms felt roomy and comfortable, and everything was really clean. The beds are on the firm side, which worked well if that's what you prefer. It's about an 18-minute drive from the airport, though the hotel feels quite isolated, so it may not suit you if you want things nearby.

It's a quiet spot in a calm neighbourhood, and the rooms are kept clean with daily service. The staff were extremely helpful. You can walk to the train station in about 15 minutes, then take a train to the central station or city centre.

I was happy with the hotel itself. The rooms were spacious, the bathroom was adequate, housekeeping was attentive, and the staff at Hotel Exe Barcelona Gate were polite and helpful. Breakfast was okay, though it fell a little short of what I expected. The reception vending fridge was the serious downside. There were no clear prices, and opening the door cost me €19. I was later billed €47.95 for just a few items. It felt misleading, almost like a tourist scam, so I'd steer clear of that fridge.

After 20 hours of travel, it was a huge relief to arrive and find a room ready. We'd told the hotel beforehand that our flight got in before check-in, and they arranged it for us. The room was clean and spacious, with plenty of outlets. Breakfast was amazing, and every staff member we met was kind and helpful. We loved staying here and would definitely come back.

The rooms were really large and comfortable, just what we needed after a nightmare of a travel day. We arrived around 2am, and the staff were happy to check us in and very helpful. It's outside the city, but the train station is about a 15-minute walk away and takes you straight in. A good option if you're trying to stick to a tighter budget.
