Boutique Hostal Salinas

We booked two rooms in November 2024 for June 2025, when we were due to attend a wedding in Ibiza. We wanted to have everything arranged early, but last week the hotel cancelled the reservation without telling us or contacting us at all. The refund came straight away, but there was no apology, explanation, or help finding somewhere else, and prices have shot up since we booked. We called several times. The receptionist was pleasant and clearly wasn’t responsible, but the owner kept saying they’d call me back and never did. I can’t comment on the rooms, but this is the worst customer service I’ve experienced. I’ve never had a hotel cancel a paid booking out of the blue without even informing its guests. Making no effort to communicate or help us was completely unacceptable.

Being so close to the beach is amazing. The place has a sweet, welcoming feel, and you can see a lot of care in the room design. The staff were lovely and friendly. The hippie style isn’t really for me, though.

I stayed here with my daughters, who are 11 and 12, and we all loved it. It’s a peaceful spot, just right for relaxing, and very close to a fantastic beach. The design is beautiful and unlike anywhere else, the staff were kind and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. We’ll definitely come back :)

I’ve been to Ibiza several times a year and came across this hidden gem by chance. The staff are brilliant, the food is excellent, and the atmosphere feels just right. There can be a little noise in the rooms, as other reviews mention, but it’s easy to know that in advance and the stay as a whole more than makes up for it. Highly recommend!
