Sirenis Seaview Country Club

The beach is beautiful and only a three minute walk away. It's small and the sand is quite coarse, but it didn't feel crowded. The hotel is under 30 minutes from the airport. We liked the location, and I enjoyed seeing the entertainment from our balcony, though it meant late nights every night. The sea view rooms also overlook the pool, bar and busiest part of the hotel. We didn't mind the noise and I'd stay in one again. The rooms are outdated, some areas were dusty, and the shower only gave a lukewarm trickle. Housekeeping did tidy the room. The beds were so comfortable I fell asleep instantly. There was loads for our four kids, aged 5-13, to do. The kids' clubs kept my five year old twins and ten year old busy, and they want to thank Erin. My five year old's favorite part was a swimming lesson with coach Siri. She was excited to be in the 'deep' and felt safe. Thanks to coach Fredrik and coach Fran too. The football academy was great. I wasn't sure how it would work with such a wide age range, but it worked for our ten year old, keeping him active and teaching skills and values, as well as getting the day off to a good start. The entertainment had something for all ages. Adriano did a great job keeping the snow going. The silent disco was our favorite, and all four children had a great time. Food was absolutely delicious. The meat was my favorite, perfectly seasoned every day, and I didn't get bored. My children are very fussy and have food aversions, but nobody went hungry. The kids' buffet was handy and had no queues. The main food queues, though, were ridiculous. It could take five minutes to get just one item, and by the time you sat down the food was cold. The system needs work. Desserts often ran out and were replaced with something completely different, which meant people took more than they could eat and food was wasted. There was one ice cream station and ten people in front of me. The outside bar staff, Sophia, Astrid, Juan and Alexandro, always greeted us with a smile and gave lovely service. Astrid made my drink perfectly every time with the most infectious smile. Juan made my pina colada just the way I liked it, and his Halloween costume was easily the scariest. He should have won a contest. The paella was the best I've had, thanks to Corala and Isabelle. Paola gave me a fantastic massage. She said she needed one after massaging me, which shows how passionate she is about her work. My main request is to have designated smoking areas and make the rest nonsmoking. You wouldn't bring a child to a smoking area, and nonsmokers shouldn't have to sit in one. We know how harmful secondhand smoke is. Once, a woman sat right in front of my five year old son while we were having lunch and lit a cigarette. The smoke blew in his face and he started coughing straight away, so we all had to move.

We had a wonderful week at sea view country club as a couple, and hope to come back with children in two years. The hotel was lovely and clean, with plenty of pools and things for kids to do. There's also a quiet infinity pool area. The views are beautiful, the beach is a stone's throw away, and the bus stop opposite the hotel has service to sanantonio. The food was lovely, with more options than the usual burgers and chips. There were plenty of gluten free choices, and you could order them too. We'll definitely return. Thanks for a wonderful week.

The sunset infinity pools were my favorite, with great views, chilled music and a beer. There are lots of pool options, including a kids' mini pool and family pools with music. A lovely beach is next door, an easy two minute walk, with bars and restaurants and excellent sunsets. It's a good location for driving to nearby places, and there is parking out front. It's a busy, family oriented hotel with plenty of services and enough to keep little ones occupied. The waterpark is a great addition, just steps away. Food was good. The separate kids' buffet was handy, though putting sweets and sugary desserts within easy reach of kids seems like a poor idea. The a la carte restaurants were a nice change, with grill, Italian and American options. Drinks were okay to good, with Estrella on tap and the usual local spirits. The machine mixed cocktails were far too sweet, maybe 70% sugar by my guess. The mojito was the nicest, though still too sweet.

The beach beside the hotel was nice, and that's where we swam instead of using the pool. A lovely woman helped with the babies on a playmat, and the young man with glasses at the restaurant entrance was always cheerful and welcoming. Some staff were friendly; others seemed miserable and fed up, which is understandable given how overcrowded it was. The hotel was overcrowded even in October, with long queues for food and hardly anything left at the buffet. The food was awful. Our room was dirty and flooded in heavy rain, and on many occasions there were no towels at all because they had been used to clean up floodwater. The entertainment was much the same most nights, basically holiday reps doing karaoke, with no actual music or shows.
