The area felt safe, and we enjoyed peaceful walks nearby. Reception was kind and helpful, with fruit-infused water at the desk during the day. Our room, number 515, was cozy and welcoming, and the beds were comfortable. It was clean overall, though there was a urine stain under the toilet seat, which I cleaned myself with the disinfecting wipes I had. The window sounded as if it were open even though it was clearly shut. Despite those issues, we had a great experience.

The hotel room was spacious, cozy, and comfortable, with a sofa area that made it easy to relax. Reception was the best part of the service. Arnau was friendly, helpful, and full of tips and recommendations that made our trip better. The hotel is in a quiet, quaint, pleasant area, though it's a bit far from the city center and we often relied on taxis. Breakfast was good quality, but late arrivals could find the hot food gone, since it wasn't replenished. Water bottles weren't restocked much either, and sometimes guests were left without water. Dinner was disappointing. The menu was extremely limited, and because we arrived late, items were already being taken off it. We were basically left to eat whatever was still available. Service needs an upgrade, especially at dinner. The bathtub jacuzzi wasn't working properly and needs maintenance. There was also a generator-like noise while showering that got annoying at times. Apart from the restaurant, we enjoyed our stay. The ratings we gave were 7/10 overall, 4/10 for dinner, 8/10 for breakfast, 10/10 for reception, 9/10 for the room, and 7/10 for location. Better dining service would make this a much stronger place to stay.

Sercotel Porta Barcelona was well maintained and organized, with a pleasant atmosphere. Check-in and check-out both went smoothly. My room was quiet, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were professional and helpful throughout. A solid, hassle-free choice for a Barcelona visit. I'd happily stay here again.

We had a great stay, and the peaceful neighborhood and price made the location worthwhile even though it's outside central Barcelona. Public transport made getting around easy, apart from the bus that broke down while I was trying to reach the hotel. That delay had nothing to do with the hotel. Once I arrived, the very guest-focused welcome set a good tone. The rooms were tidy and clean, the cleaner was especially friendly and helpful, and requests were handled promptly. All the staff were helpful and kind, and my partner and I really enjoyed our time there. We made nice memories around the area too. Tinyol is a cute nearby coffee place, Vicio does very good burgers, and local supermarkets are within walking distance. I'd recommend the hotel if you're on a budget and don't mind traveling a bit to the city center. The service is great and people are friendly and customer focused.
