Pilar was a wonderful host, making an excellent breakfast and helping however she could. The area is peaceful and close to nature, with hiking nearby. The town is about a five-minute walk away and has a couple of restaurants. We had a fantastic stay and can definitely recommend this place.

Breakfast was complete and well balanced, served out in nature. Pilar made it a pleasure to spend a few days here. The room was pleasant and the facilities well maintained. With the owners’ gardens lovingly looked after and the warm, friendly service, it felt like staying in a family home. They shared information about the whole area and made sure we were comfortable. A lovely place to disconnect.

The river is just across the road, so you can swim without taking the car. The area feels idyllic, in a unique spot in an authentic medieval village. Pilar is a sweetheart and takes care of every little detail, from itineraries and magical places to recommendations for interesting restaurants. Our room had a beautiful balcony looking over the Muga forest, lovely for a drink or a good book on a full moon night. The house is beautiful, with lots of charming little corners. Breakfast in the garden was great: continental, with local products and plenty of fruit. The local cheese and freshly made chocolate croissants especially deserve a mention. More than recommended!
