I’m a woman in my late twenties, traveling alone, and English is my first language. I’m neither German nor Spanish, and I was surprised by how much this hotel caters to German speakers. The information and entertainment were in German, and nobody seemed able to speak English fluently. At check-in, the manager insisted on a printed AllTours confirmation, though my email never said I needed one and having it on my phone wasn’t enough. I had to stand at the desk at 10 pm trying to email it to him. The server wasn’t working, so he eventually checked me in anyway. My first-floor room was above the outdoor bar and lounge. After a tiring journey I was hungry, but the only food left in the dining hall was cheese, cold cuts, stale bread, and watermelon. Noise from the bar went on past midnight, and I could hear people in nearby rooms too. The next morning I politely asked to move because I hadn’t slept properly. The manager was rude and impatient, brought up the missing printed confirmation again, and said I couldn’t go above the second floor. He got annoyed when I asked what rooms were free, then told me to look at two available rooms myself. A room change costs 20 Euro whatever the circumstances. That felt very money-focused rather than hospitable, but I moved to a quieter room. The manager made me feel like a burden and unwelcome. I’ve never had such poor hospitality at a resort. Then there was the upstairs neighbor, who walked around in heels or other loud shoes at 3 am for over an hour. I called reception, but the person answered with an angry “What?” There was no English help there either. The food varied, but was very salty overall and not especially vegetarian-friendly. Coffee from the proper espresso machine at the pool bar cost extra, which I thought was ridiculous. The free automatic coffee was horrible and undrinkable. It was my first visit to Mallorca, and I hadn’t realized I was booking such a specifically German experience. I have nothing against German guests, but expected a place like this to welcome international travelers, so the opposite surprised me. The weather was awful too: one sunny day out of the five I stayed, with the rest cloudy, extremely windy, and cold. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The beach was only moderately busy when we went in September, and you can walk straight onto it from the hotel. Cala Millor centre is nearby, and the bus stops right outside, making it easy to get around by public transport. Staff were lovely, the food was superb, and the rooms and shared areas were clean. I’d highly recommend staying here if you want to see the beautiful side of Mallorca.

The hotel has been remodelled, the food is great, and the place is clean. Too bad the internet is a mess. If you need to do anything online, forget it. I couldn’t get a reliable connection for more than 15 minutes, and I paid 15 Euros for six days. Third-party software kept disconnecting me, and there was no dependable way to reconnect without starting over from scratch. I spent a day dealing with it and nothing improved. Since a third party provides the internet, the blame always gets passed to someone else. Just pathetic, period.
