Hipotels Mediterráneo Hotel - Adults Only

I'm not usually a fan of big hotels, and we ended up here because of a problem with another hotel we’d booked. Mediterranean won’t suit everyone, but I can’t fault it. The staff throughout were exceptionally hardworking, polite and the hotel was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The buffet was mostly varied and good quality, and the outdoor pool area was immaculate, well organized and had plenty of sunbeds. There’s also a spa and entertainment for anyone who wants them.

The biggest problem was other guests making noise from 6 a.m., with cigarette smoke coming from balconies and loud TikToks playing at full volume. It made restful sleep and relaxing impossible, and it was surprising that this behavior mostly came from middle-aged guests. That seems at odds with the hotel’s high sleep comfort ratings. By the pool, the sunbeds are so close together there’s no privacy. Even so, we enjoyed our stay: the staff were smiling, the food was good, and the location was excellent. The hotel is clean, well maintained and equipped, and feels calm at first glance. We’d still consider it a safe choice in the future. It has clear potential and ambition, though unfortunately some guests don’t seem to respect that.

We’ve visited for the third time since 2023, which says how good it is. The rooms are perfect, the sea view is stunning, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

The beach is only a 1-2 minute walk away from the hotel in Sa Coma, a lovely place. It’s about 900 metres long, very clean, and good for children because the water stays shallow for quite a while. We stayed six nights and had a wonderful experience, with excellent service throughout. Our room was clean and well equipped, including a small kitchen with everything we needed for a week. The food was varied, fresh and delicious, with plenty of healthy options as well as sweets and desserts. There were daily activities for children except Sundays. We didn’t use the service ourselves, but noticed the programme. When we arrived late, after dinner hours, reception gave us food so we didn’t have to go out looking for something at night. A thoughtful gesture that left a good impression. The only minor downside was centrally controlled air conditioning. It sometimes felt too warm at night, and being able to adjust it ourselves would have been nice.
