Protur Playa Cala Millor Hotel

Definitely recommend this clean, friendly hotel. We only caught the entertainment a couple of times, but it was good when it was on. The buffet was the best hotel food I've ever had. Each night had a different theme, and they did it well every time. There's also a gluten-free section for those who need it.

The 24-hour reception staff were very helpful and arranged a room change after our first night. We were two adults and two children, aged 17 and 14, but there was only one single bed. The younger child had to sleep on the sofa, which wasn't comfortable, and there was no bedding for her until we asked for it. The hotel felt run down, and the water park was closed. Main reception wasn't helpful, and it took us 45 minutes to work out which section we were staying in. We had to ask other guests for directions. The first room wasn't great either: the main bedroom door wouldn't close, the balcony door was broken, and we couldn't use the wardrobes. We moved rooms after that first night.

This adults-only hotel is in a great spot, just over the promenade from the beach and about a five-minute walk from the main shops and bars. We had four lovely days in a beautiful, spotless place with excellent service from friendly, polite and helpful staff. The pool area has plenty of loungers, and the outdoor bar and grill serves tasty snacks. The pizzas were excellent! It was our first half-board stay, and we were impressed by the food's quality and range. There's a different theme every night, along with different entertainment to suit everyone. I'd highly recommend the hotel and would definitely come back.

We wanted a relaxed break and had an amazing stay. The pool area was clean and nice, and finding a sunbed wasn't a big fight. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the bar area was pleasant too. The room was spacious, modern and clean. Food was amazing, with lots of choice and a different theme each night. It's close to the beach, bars and restaurants. I'd highly recommend it.
