The atmosphere, food, rooms, staff and location were all amazing at Son Penya Hotel. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return. Thank you!

Our terrace was a lovely spot to sit in the evening and enjoy the quiet and the starry sky. The rooms are spacious, clean and have pretty much everything you need. It's a calm place with a little luxury, and the pool area is relaxing. Breakfast is fresh and varied enough. You can also book a private spa visit if you'd like some extra privacy. The staff were friendly and approachable. Electric bikes are available to rent for free, so you can head to nearby towns, for example.

The peaceful finca style and small number of rooms are exactly why we chose this hotel, and it turned out to be a beautifully maintained place to relax. We stayed in a deluxe villa with a private pool, which was cozy and spacious enough, with lovely views past the pool into the distance. It got sun from early morning through evening, just right for unwinding quietly. The whole team was warm, attentive and never intrusive. Reception, restaurant and housekeeping were all excellent, and we felt at home straight away. We were on half board, with a choice of à la carte starter, main and dessert each evening. Everything we tried was delicious, including the hotel's recommendations. Breakfast was top notch, especially the French toast. We never used the big shared pool with the stylish daybeds, though it looked inviting. We could charge our electric car for free in the hotel car park, which was a real bonus. The grounds are stylish and well kept, with lots of privacy and calm. Outside mealtimes, you hardly notice you're at a hotel. That's the balance between having your own retreat and hotel comforts we wanted. The only thing I'd improve is the small gym, which could use more modern equipment. But that's a minor gripe. For us, it was a full 12 out of 10, and we'll definitely be back.

The staff were attentive and thoughtful, and helped us arrange outings and taxis for the evening. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Son Penya is the quiet, beautiful setting we'd been looking for to get away from everyday stress. The landscape is amazing, and the spacious, luxurious rooms were wonderful. The private pool was outstanding. Breakfast was great, with fresh ingredients and a wide choice of eggs, including eggs Benedict. Each morning we spent at least an hour enjoying the food and the garden view without rushing. Dinner was very good too, and one evening we even had a wine tasting. We'll definitely come back.
