The food was amazing, and the place was peaceful, very clean and had great facilities. The staff were amazing too. There isn't much to see or do in Punta Prima, which was the only downside and has nothing to do with the hotel. The island is small, though, so getting around doesn't take long, and taxis are always available.

The buffet was a real highlight, with fresh food, lots of choice and a menu that changed daily. Breakfast had everything from healthier options to treats, and the pastries and fresh bread were especially good. We looked forward to each meal. There were daily activities too, including AquaGym, Sunset Yoga, SUP yoga, which I tried, and dance lessons in the evening. We stayed with our 14-month-old, and the staff made us feel welcome from the start. They were very accommodating for our family, and the room was spotless, comfortable and set up with a cot, which made travelling with a little one much easier. Everyone we met was warm and friendly, especially with our baby, who spent the eight days exploring the whole hotel. The hotel felt just the right size, with plenty of room to relax without feeling overwhelming. The pools and outdoor spaces were well kept and well serviced, so we enjoyed long, restful days by the water. We had a wonderful family stay at Barceló Nura, especially suited to families with young children, and would highly recommend it.

A client recommended this place to us, and she was right. It's a beautiful, peaceful spot, and we enjoyed the good weather, food and accommodation. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

I spent a week there, and my holiday was ruined after I was served an undercooked piece of fish at the restaurant's made-to-order station. I was hospitalised with acute gastroenteritis. We hadn't eaten anywhere else in the 36 hours before I got sick, but the hotel refused to accept responsibility.
