Balansat Resort

We'd definitely visit again. The fire dancers were the best, wow, so good! The entertainment team were lovely with the kids, and the staff were friendly too. Our room was cleaned every day, hats off to the cleaners, they work so hard :) The place itself is beautiful. The mini disco songs did get stuck in my head lol, since they played the same ones a lot. They could change the songs up a little 😁

The beach is very close and nice enough, though there are clearer, nicer ones elsewhere. Evenings were the biggest downside for us: there are only a few restaurants, no shops, and nowhere much to walk to. If you're after somewhere quiet, almost dead, it may suit you, but for a stroll, dinner and a drink, I'd choose somewhere else. I stayed for a week in July 25 with my 12 year old son, and we went self catering. Most people seemed to be all inclusive. We tried the buffet one evening and one morning, and it was standard 3star food, so I was glad we’d chosen SC. The room had very basic facilities, just a microwave, a 2 ring hob and very few utensils. The bedroom air conditioning was really poor, so nights were hot. The staff were all friendly and the room was cleaned well. There’s a nice adults only pool, a little splash park, and a main pool that isn’t very big and can get crowded. The animation team seemed to make a good effort.

The food and the range of dishes were splendid, a real credit to everyone involved. We’ve stayed with lots of different holiday providers, and the meals here were of a very high standard. The rooms were comfortable and well kept, and reception knew their stuff and were happy to help with questions. The children all seemed to be smiling. There’s an activity pool for younger kids and a main pool for older ones, with activities for different ages. The adult pool is for 16+ and is a peaceful place to relax. The whole staff seemed focused on making our holiday as good as possible. We’ve just had a splendid week at BR, and I don’t often give straight fives. Ask reception before planning trips away from the hotel. The bus service was cheap and on time when we used it, €2.90 one way to Eivissa. It’s a lovely city, full of cultural attractions, and I couldn’t believe how clean it was. Thanks, BR, for top class service.

The 16+ pool is quiet and lovely, and there’s also a wonderful beach right beside the resort. The atmosphere was wonderful, so I’d definitely return. The resort is beautifully located and makes for a comfortable, quiet vacation, with outstanding staff who do whatever they can to make you feel at home. There are a few things that could be improved. The rooms are noisy, with chairs moving and conversations carrying loudly. Some maintenance details in the rooms need attention too. The food is sometimes lukewarm, and the shower can be as well. That wasn’t a bad thing with such nice temperatures outside.
