Apartament El Pou

We came with our two dogs and found just the sort of peaceful village we wanted. The apartment was spotless, with a well-equipped kitchen and a big, wonderfully comfortable bed. Its thick walls kept it cool, and the ceiling fan was plenty, so we ended up taking naps too. The owners were kind and attentive throughout. It’s also a handy base for nearby places like Santa Pere Pescador, L'Escala, Empuriabrava, Roses, and Santa Martí d'Ampúries. There are beaches and walks around the area, and it’s an ideal spot if you’re looking to unwind. We’d definitely come back.

I worked remotely from here and the internet connection was very good. The apartment itself is spacious, comfortable, and really clean. It fits beautifully into the surroundings and doesn’t feel like a tourist spot at all. The town is lovely and very quiet, and the couple running the place were so nice and quick to help with anything we needed. We’d happily stay again, and I recommend giving it a try. Thank you!

You can park right outside briefly to unload, though the lane is so narrow that the village parking lot two streets away is a better place to leave the car. Once settled, it’s easy to explore the region, and the nearest beach is about a 15-minute drive. The apartment even has a parasol, beach chair, and snorkeling gear. Inside, the kitchen has a dishwasher and came stocked with basic spices, tea, and coffee. There’s also plenty of information about the region. The hosts were friendly, and the apartment had everything we needed. A nice option if you want to avoid the tourist crowds and get to know the local people.
