Ana was quick to reply whenever we had a question, usually within minutes. The apartment was clean and had what we needed, including ceiling fans in every room that made the very hot nights comfortable. We loved the view from the balcony, and the beach was only about a two-minute walk away. I’d happily book this apartment again if I return to Sant Pol De Mar.

At 4am we heard a noise and saw a man hanging from our first-floor balcony. We could never recommend this horrible place. The owner now says the break-in was not the apartment’s fault and isn’t willing to refund us. The apartment was clean, but quite old, and the door was difficult to close, which now worries us even more. There’s also a busy street and a train passing every five minutes, so it’s very loud. The morning view over the palms was the one good thing.

It’s a small, quiet town, with busier places nearby if you want them. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and we had very good communication with the owner. It’s about a ten-minute walk to the train station and an hour by train to Barcelona. Everything worked out great, and I’d honestly recommend it.
