Can Puigmiquel

The apartment worked for two, with a sofa bed that could sleep two more if you’re not too fussy. Inside, it was simple but had what we needed, and the kitchen-dining room had a lovely rustic look. The family running the place were friendly and always ready to help. The pool and garden were fine too. It could get a bit noisy at busy times, especially when children were staying in the other apartments, though we had the place to ourselves during the quieter periods. The town and area are peaceful, close to La Bisbal and charming villages like Cruïlles, Monells and Madremanya. There are lots of nearby hiking and mountain biking routes through Les Gavarres. We’d come back.

Concepció has created a lovely feel inside the house through her decorating. The four of us had a very pleasant weekend in a peaceful setting, staying in one of the houses, "lolivera 1". It was clean, well maintained, and equipped with kitchen utensils, bed linen, towels, and the other things that make a stay comfortable. Concepció, our host, was pleasant, attentive, and professional. I’d keep this rural house in mind for another getaway, and highly recommend the Can Puigmiquel room.

The owner is so helpful, and the place feels peaceful, welcoming, and comfortable. The accommodations have everything you need. Every time we visit, it’s a 10/10 stay.

It was unbearably hot inside the house, with a minimum temperature of 39 degrees Celsius. My family and I had a terrible time. The property owner offered no solution, so we had to find a hotel for a few nights. We weren’t refunded for the days we couldn’t stay there. It felt inhumane. Vacation rentals should have air conditioning. I absolutely do not recommend this place.
