The best part was our private jacuzzi session in the lovely hotel spa. The common areas and bedroom were exceptionally clean, and the linens smelled wonderful. We spent two nights at El Palauet and enjoyed our own sitting room, plus a delicious breakfast on the sunny terrace. Catherine, the owner, gave us a warm and helpful welcome, and Monells is a stunning town, full of arches.

Our almost 4 year old loved the pool and shared living area during our July 2019 visit, when children were allowed. The room was on the small side, but it had a large terrace and there were common spaces to relax in, so we had plenty of room to enjoy the hotel. I thought it was a very nice stay. The staff were friendly and made sure we had an early dinner table.

A sweet little hotel with rooms decorated with real care and attention to detail. There’s a small pool and a jacuzzi downstairs in the basement. The staff were incredibly friendly. It’s a great spot to escape the city and breathe some fresh air. Highly recommend!

The breakfast, service, setting, and interior were all magnificent. It’s a wonderful mansion in a tiny town that feels like it was lifted straight out of the Middle Ages.

Laura and her family made us feel so welcome and were really accommodating. The property is beyond beautiful, and it’s such a good place to kick back and relax.
