Casa Rural El Balcón - Finca Ayala

A great spot to unwind, breathe fresh air, and enjoy Gran Canaria.

It was just what I wanted: peace, quiet, and nature all around. The cottage is clean, roomy, and really comfortable, and it's adapted for people with reduced mobility. I had fun walking around the property, getting wet, and cooling off in the little jacuzzi-style pond, which has no bubbles. It's missing a few details and amenities, including air conditioning, but the location means you can still get a pretty good night's sleep. The bathroom has stayed renovated over time, and the water flow is stronger now. I'll definitely come back and recommend this peaceful little cottage.

If you want somewhere quiet, with no noise or hustle and bustle, I can wholeheartedly recommend this house. Just be prepared to spend a while getting to the beach. It sits on an organic farm growing plums, oranges, and lemons, at the edge of the village of El Modranal, towards San Mateo. The covered terrace behind the house has a dining table and three sun loungers, with access to the garden. There's also a pleasant garden at the front with a table and three chairs. Inside, downstairs has a bedroom with two single beds, a small but fully functional kitchen, dining and living area, and a large bathroom with a washing machine, equipped for older guests or people with mobility issues. Upstairs, the two cozy bedrooms are nicely furnished: one has a 180x200 cm bed and the other has two singles. There's also a small bathroom, a sitting area, and a little balcony.

A lovely place to relax among nature. The owner greets you warmly and is very polite.
