The breakfast was good, and reception were helpful. Our room was clean and well equipped, and the balcony had lovely views. We found the restaurant a bit formal and daunting to visit with children, even though they have high chairs. There are a couple of nice bistros close by. There's no parking at the hotel, but you can find spaces by the church a couple of minutes up the hill. If you park there, you can enter through the small unmarked door beside reception instead of going through the main gate and gardens, which means hauling luggage up a lot of steps. Bandama and the Botanical Gardens are both worth seeing and only a short drive away.

We stayed in January and there weren't many people around. The hotel has great food, with waiter service at dinner, and the staff were fantastic. Breakfast was limited and not hot. It's essentially a school or college for Spanish tourism students, owned by the Spanish government. The hotel borders the busy GC15, though it does get quiet between midnight and 6am. I'd choose a balcony or terrace room. The top rooms feel claustrophobic.

The employees deserve another compliment for their very good, professional service. The hotel is lovely, and breakfast is good too.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Escuela. The bed was very comfortable, breakfast was ample, and the helpful staff supported us with our travel arrangements. The hotel had everything we could have wanted.

I asked for a larger room in a quieter spot, but when I arrived none was available. The rooms they showed me were small, dark, and sadly not quiet, so I left. Reception let me go without any resistance, but now I've been charged 72.30 euros for this dysfunction. I've immediately complained to management and asked for a refund. This kind of behavior from a hotel school is unbearable.
