Casa Rural Can Miquel

Can Miquel is a quiet place to explore the region from. It's a five-minute drive to the amenities in St. Coloma de Farners, which has everything you'll need, 30 minutes to Costa Brava beaches, and 25 minutes from Girona Airport. The owners, Valeria and Ismael, were wonderful hosts and did everything they could to make our stay relaxed and stress free. The house has six great bedrooms that can be arranged for different group sizes, plus spaces for all sorts of occasions: a bar and pool area with shade, a shaded outdoor dining area, a large indoor dining room, and a great sitting room. The large kitchen is well equipped for big groups. Whether your party is big or small, this is a great place to relax with friends or family.

A wonderful villa with great facilities.

The house is lovely, but the few days there felt awkward because the man, who also lives there, was constantly around. The next day, while we were barbecuing and spending time together, he kept wandering around the house, supposedly watering plants and doing other things. The power had gone out, so we spent our first night in complete darkness. I'm not saying it was his fault, but we didn't get compensation or anything.

We had a fantastic few days at Can Miquel with 10 adults and 9 children, and we'd definitely return. The house is clean, comfortable, and spacious, ideal for a group our size. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, which made things much more practical. We loved singing with a guitar in the evenings and spending time together. There were no issues with that, or with the spaces, kitchen, or privacy. Everything worked properly, and the owners dealt with any questions right away. They were attentive, friendly, helpful, and never made us feel pressured or uncomfortable. They made us feel at home. We'd read some negative reviews, but our experience was completely different. We recommend Can Miquel 100% to large groups looking for a peaceful, cozy place and good service.
