All three of us are really happy we chose your flat, Lorena. It's nicely decorated and the location is perfect. Thanks for the great offer and for helping make us comfortable. I'm taking off a star because you said the sheets and towels would be changed, but after 20 days we're still using the same ones. Even so, we're planning to come back next year and stay here again for a month or two.

A nightmare. When I arrived at the apartment a month ago, there were cockroaches and ants, and they caused problems for three days. I spent the first night with cockroaches in the house. On the second night they moved me to a replacement room of a lower standard. They said the apartment had been cleaned by the third night, but dead cockroaches were still inside. I asked for a refund and they agreed, but it never came. They also charged 197 euros to my card without authorization, and that still needs to be refunded. They don't answer my calls or messages. Maybe they'll answer the police. I have to report this place and hope nobody else is treated the way I was by the management.

The apartment was modern, very clean, and had big rooms, so staying a few days was easy. The Wi-Fi can get really bad at busy times. It'd also be helpful if the toilet bin were emptied, or if there were at least instructions about where to take it.

We enjoyed living like locals in this spacious, spotless apartment, with all the essentials close at hand. Mencey Lofts Salamanca is reasonably priced and sits on a quiet street near Santa Cruz's historic center. Parking wasn't a problem for us, as we found spaces on nearby streets. There's a small EcoSol supermarket close by where we could pick up everything from jamon and eggs to fruit and wine.
