Dos Barrancos

Finca B was clean and tidy. The facilities are limited, with no oven, but there was enough for us. We found plenty of walks nearby and three lovely little restaurants where the service was super friendly and the food was Typical Canarian. Try the beer or wine. We drove all over the island, and each place was an easy trip for a day out. The Piramides at Güímar and the gardens are fascinating, Punta Hildago has crashing waves and spectacular views, and we also went to Los Gigantes, Teidi and Anaga. The small town of St Andreas was great for food, ice cream and fresh, unusual fish, and The Tunnel was our favourite. The man made beach was out of this world, clean and safe, with little bars, toilets and rubbish bins, ideal for families. If you get the chance, visit Oratova Los Balconies, where you might even meet a famous artist. Do go to Santa Cruz too. The Botanical garden is a wow, and it's lovely just to wander around and soak up the atmosphere. Thank you for our stay.

The pool is awesome, perfect for cooling down and enjoying the views. The house (C) is very well equipped and the beds are really comfortable. We were surrounded by birds, butterflies and goats in the mountains, and there are restaurants and a SPAR supermarket close by, which was convenient. Would definitely recommend!

The surroundings are the one good thing, if you happen to get the part of the house with a view of nature. In the other section, a wall sits right outside the windows, yet the price is the same. The photos show the nicer side, so be careful. Cooking is pretty much out: there are only two hotplates and they don't work at the same time. The Wi-Fi was down, and there was an industrial perfume smell everywhere. When I complained, the owner insulted me. I'd skip it. You can find somewhere better and cheaper 😉

The kitchen had everything we needed, and there was a small pool too. A nice apartment.
