The owner was very friendly, and the apartment itself was comfortable, with a kitchen, washing machine, and great views. It was quiet too. Santa Cruz is only a short drive away, but you'll need a car since the place is isolated, with no shops or services nearby. Getting there means tackling a very steep hill, so it won't suit people with mobility issues.

It's a simple place for a quiet stay, away from the city's bustle, but with easy access to the main roads and places of interest. The host explained everything well. This is an independent guesthouse, not a resort, and the owners provide very good service. It's family-friendly, offers enough amenities, and is good value, with a comfortable night's rest. We came back two years in a row.

The view and location are spectacular, and the facilities are good. It's also super clean. Parking is a real problem, though. The directions say 100 meters, but it's actually 200, and the slope is steep. If you can make it to the spot they point out, you can park there, but there's nowhere else. The landlord is very friendly and warned us that in winter the door can swell and become impossible to close.
