Iberostar Heritage Grand Mencey

We had a fantastic five-night stay during carnival. The food was tasty, our room was kept to a really high standard, and that pool area is stunning. The location and service were brilliant too. We love spending a few holiday days by the pool, and Carlos really spoiled us. He kept the drinks coming, made sure we were fed, and even helped us improve our horrendous Spanish. Huge thanks to him and the amazing housekeeping team!

We've already had four lovely days here and have three more to go. The food has been consistently excellent at breakfast and dinner. In the evening there's a regular menu plus daily specials for each course, so it stays varied throughout the stay. Everyone has been attentive and keen to look after us. Nelson, Shelia and Roberto have all been friendly and helpful, and Carlos is always around the relaxing pool area with a great range of daily cocktails. The gym and spa have been a pleasure to use, and our room is comfortable and well kept. The air conditioning feels a little outdated, and it took me longer than it should have to work out. That's probably more down to me being too lazy to figure it out properly than a hotel fault. So far the stay has been impeccable, and we expect the last three days to be just as good.

This is our second stay, and we'll definitely come back. The pool area is gorgeous, with lots of beds, space and peace and quiet. The pool food was really nice too, and Carlos at the bar made the atmosphere especially lovely. He made us feel comfortable and always made sure we had what we wanted. The rooms are very nice, though a few things are awkward. The light switches are too far from the bed, and the bed rolls if you try to sit up against the wall. Still, the place feels like a five-star hotel.

The Sprunch food was delicious, and we really enjoyed the cava and freshly squeezed orange juice. The waitresses were kind and very attentive, keeping our drinks topped up, but the whole thing felt rushed because the plates came out so quickly. Maybe brunch could include fewer plates or smaller servings. Delicious, just too fast. Thank you.
