The only good thing is the central location. Avoid this terrible place and find somewhere else. If there’s an emergency, I’d just hope for the best: basic fire safety and emergency exit rules don’t seem to be followed, and there are no escape routes marked in the rooms or halls. The only window looks onto an interior space that leads nowhere, so if there’s a fire and you can’t get out through the door, bye bye Kansas. The new air conditioners don’t work, so the rooms stay humid and claustrophobic. Wires run close to the shower and get wet when you turn on the water. The locks are clearly broken and the doors don’t close properly, so you don’t feel protected when you lock your room. I know this isn’t Hilton, but it’s not even Tom's cabin. When you complain, they laugh in your face. I’m not cancelling this review after your inflammatory email blaming me for not complaining before leaving. So you admit there are problems, right? I have the pictures, and no email from you can make things right. Just admit you manage this hotel horribly instead of blaming me for complaining. Sincerely yours.

It’s right in the centre, but still relatively quiet. Basic and a little dated, though clean. For the price, it’s hard to complain.

The location is fantastic, close to restaurants, a bus stop and the tram stop. The room was very basic but fair for the price. It was reasonably clean, though I did find some hair on the bed. A good fit for a short budget stay.

Right near Plaza Espagna in the middle of the center, it’s a simple, quiet and clean room. The bed was comfy, and the price felt fair for the quality. It’s fine for one night. There’s no window and the aircon didn’t work, but there is a small fan.

The location is the only good thing. At 38€/night, it definitely wasn’t worth it. If you leave early, they won’t refund you or change rooms. The hotel equipment is bad, like in 3rd world countries. The A/C didn’t work, and opening the only window, which faces the interior courtyard, brought in a very strong smell. There was basically no way to ventilate the room or get fresh air. Sound insulation was also absent: you could hear people walking and talking in the corridor, and people in nearby rooms talking or showering. There was no way to sleep.
