The restaurant was lovely, but the food was even better. We had fabulous Spanish dishes, beautifully presented and served, and the wine was incredibly good and served at the perfect temperature. We stayed for one night on the way south. We were warmly welcomed and offered drinks and food straight away. The room was spotlessly clean and warm. It and the bathroom were a little dated, but everything worked fine. Parking was easy. We’ll definitely return. Thank you for such a great stay.

Antonio was so kind and made sure I had enough food and everything else. I really appreciated his hospitality. I had a very good experience here!

The food was excellent, and so were the setting, service, presentation, and wine. We had steak, which was the best ever, gorgeous pâté, and cheesecake to die for. Amapola was a thoughtful, attentive waitress who knew her stuff. She even brought olive oil in a separate dish for our gluten-free friends to avoid cross-contamination. We’d booked a meal with friends for our last night at the nearby campsite. There’d been a power outage across Spain around lunchtime, so we popped in to ask if the restaurant was still open. They assured us they’d find us something to eat, though the menu would be limited. There was still plenty of choice, including for our gluten-free friends. Since the credit card machine wasn’t working, they trusted us to come back the next day and pay. Our three-course meal, a bottle of wine, and two other alcoholic drinks came to €40 (£34) a head. I highly recommend visiting for a meal you won’t forget.

Such a welcoming, hospitable place, with amazing food, especially the venison stew. Brilliant spot to stay. I’d stop here again.
