AluaSoul Ibiza - Adults Only

We were able to use the facilities while waiting for our room, which wasn't ready until 3pm. When we finally got in, it was tidy, and the view was a real wow. We'd mentioned our honeymoon in the booking and were upgraded to a superior double sea view room. Paula welcomed us as soon as we arrived, and the glass of blue bubbly was a lovely surprise. There was a different themed food night every night, and we always filled our plates. It was all buffet style, with grill, salad, bread, and dessert stations. Our superior room also gave us access to the infinity pool and the sunbeds up top, where there was always one available. Carlos was always happy to bring us drinks, and we had such a laugh with him. He was always smiling and clearly loves his job. Valentina was hilarious on bingo night, getting the crowd going and keeping us laughing. Housekeeping came every morning to refresh the room, change the sheets, and bring new towels. It was my first time abroad, and it didn't disappoint. We went for a week-long stay at AluaSoul Es Canar, and the staff and food were the biggest strengths. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, attentive without hovering, and seemed ready to do anything for us. Special thanks to Gervhino, Valentina, Carlos, Jasmin, Stella, Natalia, and Felix, who worked tirelessly, seemingly 12+ hours a day, to make our week special. The pool area was well looked after and had plenty of loungers and parasols, so finding a place was never a struggle. The dining room was spotless, with fresh plates and glasses always available. There was a wide range of food throughout the day, with breakfast from 7:30 and dinner until 21:30. For a more active nightlife that isn't as intense as San Antonio, visit during the “busy” season, roughly from the 3rd week of May through September. When we were there, many Es Canar bars and clubs hadn't fully opened yet, so peak summer is a better bet for lively evenings. We just got back from the week and wanted to share what a clean, welcoming, high-quality hotel this is. We couldn't recommend it enough.

The food was good quality, the staff were lovely and friendly, and the hotel has three lovely pools. Cocktails on the all-inclusive package weren't the best, but the other drinks were good. Entertainment was good considering it was out of season, especially the lovely Italian entertainment lady, though I've forgotten her name. It's right by the beach, with lovely views. There isn't much to do out of season, but it looks like a lot will open in summer. The Wednesday hippy market is easy to walk to and well worth a visit. For a good night out, I can recommend Akesha, only a 6min taxi ride away. Buy tickets in advance. It has a wonderful atmosphere and a good mix of ages.

We had a lovely stay last week, with everything first class. The room overlooked the pool, and the pools were lovely. One of them lets you walk straight into the water, with no stairs. Food was very good and there was plenty of choice. I'd thoroughly recommend it and hope to return.
