The food was average, and the service a bit slow. Booking is recommended. It’s a shame, because the location is lovely, and it’s pretty sitting beneath the tree branches with a sea view in the evening. The toilets need cleaning, and that would put me off going again.

We had a great couple of days here. It feels like home, with friendly, great staff and a casual, authentic atmosphere. There’s everything you need close by: the restaurant, shop, small supermarket and beach right by the hostal. We’ll definitely come back.

We ate at the beachfront restaurant and didn’t come away disappointed. It’s a no-nonsense place, away from the hype, with fair prices and very reasonable food. I had the catch of the day and loved it. I noticed a lot of Spanish people around, maybe locals? After dinner under the trees, my kids ran onto the beach to play in the sand and on the swing in front of the terrace. The staff were friendly too. We’d definitely return.

I stayed at the resort across the street, where the only option was buffet food eaten in the restaurant. Having pizza available to take away here was a real highlight. It was ideal to walk across the street for something to eat in my room or late at night.
