The shower in our room leaked under the door, though there were plenty of towels to mop it up. Apart from that, we had a great stay at Casa Luis and I’d highly recommend it. There are two pools for everyone and a separate adults-only rooftop pool. Our superior room was nicely equipped, had comfortable beds and air conditioning, and was cleaned every other day. Jeffrey provided great daytime entertainment, and there was a decent choice of evening entertainment too. The food was fine and did the job. Eroski and Mercadona are both about five minutes away for groceries. It’s around a 15-minute walk to Santa Eularia and ten minutes to the nearest beach.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were decent enough, if basic and dated. We were disappointed with the food, though. The quality was poor and it was all frozen, and on half board we got a very limited dinner menu printed on a laminated A4 sheet while other diners had a proper menu. It made us feel like second-class guests, so we ate out for the last couple of nights. The hotel bar and restaurant doesn’t open for breakfast until 10, so there’s no coffee or tea before then. There aren’t any cafes or breakfast spots nearby either. There are a couple of supermarkets close by, but for much else you have to walk about 20 minutes to Santa Eulària.

My kids really enjoyed their stay here. They had a great time in the pools and the park, and the staff always welcomed them warmly. The rooms are a bit dated now, but it’s still a lovely hotel. There’s a bus stop right outside, which made getting into Ibiza town very easy. I’ll definitely come back, hopefully much sooner next time. I’ve stayed twice, though the first visit was 29 years ago, and I still have great memories of being here with my parents.

We’d had some doubts because this is often one of the cheapest places to book through Jet2, but it turned out to be brilliant value. Everything was clean and tidy, and the family-run team made us feel welcome. We had breakfast and lunch there several times and enjoyed it all. The entertainment was great too, especially the magician. We’ve just come back from seven nights and would absolutely stay here again. Our superior apartment was modern and big enough for our family of four. The sofa cleverly turns into two single beds, with sheets and pillows stored inside. The only problem was the shower, which leaked a lot onto the floor and meant we went through towels quickly. That seems like something winter maintenance could fix. There were plenty of sunbeds and the rooftop pool was lovely. The main pool by the restaurant ranges from about 117 cm to 180 cm, with a shallow pool beside it for younger kids and a splash park as well. There’s also a small playground with swings and other equipment. The staff were all friendly. Julie in the restaurant was especially pleasant, and Jeffrey did a great job making sure everyone had fun. There’s no kids’ club, but he rounded the children up for football, target shooting or pool. He’s a great guy and a credit to the hotel. Thanks, Jeffrey.
