Invisa Hotel Club Cala Verde

The kids loved the kids' club, and that gave us time to enjoy the adults-only infinity pool. We also looked around the sister hotel, Cala Blanca, and were glad we'd picked the Verde. I'd definitely return. We had a wonderful holiday, and it was perfect for a family with young children. The views were fantastic, the rooms were huge, and both the food and service were excellent. The only small gripe was that although this is meant to be a four-star hotel, everything was self-service. The staff were lovely, though.

We stayed a few nights and had a lovely time. The views were stunning, the facilities were great, and the friendly welcome at check-in came with a surprise upgrade. We especially liked being able to have breakfast late, so we could sleep in without feeling rushed. The setting is beautiful, although the beach wasn't really our taste, so we went to explore other nearby beaches. The staff were always polite and friendly, and the animation team kept things lively without going overboard. We'd definitely come back.

On departure day, breakfast at 6:00 a.m. was just three dry bread rolls, with no drinks at all. My child didn't even get juice. When I asked at reception, they said I could have coffee. For a supposedly all-inclusive hotel, that was a joke. I've stayed in many hotels, but this kind of breakfast with no drinks was scandalous.

We liked the hotel enough on our few-day visit in 2023 to return for a week the following year. We booked all-inclusive both times. The two adults-only pools were a highlight, with a chance to relax in the sun and quiet. You can also use a tennis court if you're all-inclusive. Some of the balls were in rough shape, but it was okay. Both rooms were spacious, clean and well insulated, with wonderful balcony views. The hotel is hilly, though, so anyone with mobility issues should be aware that the path to the beach is steep. The beach itself is lovely and clean, if not very big. Luckily for us, most guests seemed to stick to the pools. The food could be better. I had a few meals with undercooked meat, and most desserts tasted artificial, almost like instant supermarket desserts. The seafood was great, and there was always a nice range of cheeses. Many all-inclusive cocktails, such as margaritas and daiquiris, came premade, and some drinks were off-brand.
