Meliá Ibiza - Adults Only

The coast view and the breeze were lovely, and there are good walks nearby. It’s close to the Marina and lots of nice restaurants. I preferred this area to Ibiza Town. The hotel was spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I loved this place and would choose the level service again if I return. Much more civilised! The Level’s sea-view rooms have water and nespresso machines, and guests get sole use of the rooftop bar and pool with comfy loungers. There’s also its own lounge, breakfast and outdoor areas on the ground floor, beside lovely gardens and the sea. The other side didn’t appeal as much to me, since its loungers weren’t as thick as the ones upstairs and the breakfast area wasn’t nearly as nice. The Level includes an endless supply of drinks and food. We were so full we hardly ate out in the evenings. There’s also a separate concierge area with drinks on arrival. The rooms are modern and comfortable, and the pools are amazing, especially the rooftop one on the fifth floor. It was my second stay, and I’ll be back next year. The hotel felt like a lovely premium experience, with great staff, particularly Claudia, Pedro and a young woman who’d worked there for less than a year. She gave me the best service and made the stay even more enjoyable. The chef’s dinner service was amazing too.

The hotel was spotless, the receptionists were great, and the pool staff worked really hard. But the à la carte restaurant’s food was dreadful. I went to a Spanish hotel expecting Spanish food, but it only served Italian dishes, which I can’t eat. So many people were disappointed. If you want lovely Spanish food, don’t book here. I’d have expected at least a buffet-style restaurant. There was nothing on the website or the jet2 site to warn us about this. It absolutely spoiled a holiday I’d had to save a lot for.

We spent a week at Meliá Ibiza for our wedding this year and absolutely loved it. The location was great, around the corner from our wedding venue, about a 15-minute walk to the harbour and its many restaurants, and another 10 minutes to the main Santa Eularia town and beach. Our suite in The Level was truly beautiful, with a huge balcony, a large bathtub and an incredible sea view. From the glass of bubbly on arrival to the stunning rooftop pool, everything felt special. We were self-catering, but the room included drinks throughout the day, snacks and an evening tapas hour. We also found a bottle of champagne on arrival and another on our wedding night, such thoughtful gestures. The hotel team were patient and accommodating. They let our suppliers meet us there in the lead-up and welcomed our wedding party on the morning of the wedding so they could get ready with us. We can’t recommend The Level enough and will definitely be back! One thing to keep in mind: some of our guests booked standard rooms in the main hotel and thought they were quite small. If your budget allows, we’d highly recommend booking within The Level.
