The best thing is being right by the beach. The basic room was pleasant and clean, and the boss kindly let an extra person stay when our other accommodation fell through. Reception is staffed only a few hours each day, but the entrance doors stay locked, which made the place feel secure.

The family who run this place were so welcoming. The owner Minola and his two sons did everything they could to make sure we were happy, and Dympna, the Irish receptionist, was especially friendly. It's a small block with just 6 Seaview rooms overlooking the beach and little harbour, and everything was immaculately clean. We'd definitely return, and would recommend it.

I went to the beach and, when I came back, someone had entered my room and taken cash, 3 Hermes sandals and some clothes. I was robbed here and wouldn't recommend this place. None of the staff helped at all.

It looks really ugly and doesn't seem very clean. More like a 2 star hotel.

A bit dated and ready for a refurb, but they do keep it clean and tidy.
