There’s plenty of room to park, though you’ll need a car to reach the house. We were 10 for the weekend and had a really lovely time. The place was spotless, and the bedrooms have a nice country-house feel. With five bedrooms and two living rooms, everyone could spread out, and there were books and board games to enjoy too. We tried the Japanese-style hot tub on the patio, but the water took hours to warm up. I’d get it going well ahead of time, and you may need more wood than they provide to get it properly hot. I’d still consider coming back.

It’s a rural house with two double rooms and three singles. Each bedroom has a modern TV and its own bathroom. The jacuzzi was out of reach for us, since there wasn’t enough firewood to heat the water. Cleaning in the rooms was just adequate.

The owner was really friendly, and on request the Eufrasio grill made us an incredibly tasty roast suckling lamb. The house itself is super cozy for a family get-together, with five bedrooms, each with a bathroom, and a traditional Basque-style kitchen centered around a big table. There’s also an outdoor patio with a jacuzzi. I really hope I can return.

A peaceful spot, with roomy bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. There’s heating, a fully equipped kitchen, games, and a place to hang out with friends, so it feels like a very complete country house. Highly recommended.
