There are shops nearby, though you'll need a car to reach a supermarket. We loved our stay and will come back. The clean, spacious accommodation has all the amenities, and the village is right by the beach. It's small, tidy, and not crowded. For surfing, it's a great spot. Bars and restaurants shut at 11:00 PM, and after that it's quiet until morning. You mostly hear the sea and wind, with the occasional plane.
There's a nice breeze that keeps the place cool all day, and it's quiet and welcoming. Its position near the airport and in the middle of the island makes it ideal if you're renting a car for a few days of vacation.
I can't recommend a rental that's presented as an apartment when the room has no window and the description doesn't mention that.
