Can Calafat in Can Picafort

The pool is the real highlight: it's unusually beautiful and clearly looked after professionally. The outdoor area is lovely too, and the air conditioning works very well. After two weeks, we did manage to have a wonderful stay, but only because we could put up with the drawbacks. I wouldn't recommend the finca to friends in its current state. There are many small problems adding up. Some doors scrape along the floor and are extremely hard to open, the kitchen equipment seems cobbled together, with just one coffee spoon and no colander, and the capsule coffee machine is broken. The outdoor fridge has a sharp metal plate where its handle should be. Some beds are like camp beds. The garden bathroom is in especially poor shape: its door is coming apart at the bottom and barely attached to the frame, and the paint is peeling. The finca wasn't very clean either. In 35°C heat, one small 2.5-meter parasol wasn't nearly enough shade. The old sun loungers had just been left in a corner of the garden. There were also too few parasols and not enough cutlery. The online photos make the inside look much brighter and more inviting than it really is.
