Eix Alzinar Mar Aparthotel

We spent ten days here for a girls' break and would recommend it to anyone after a relaxing holiday. Our room was lovely, well laid out, and had a stunning view over the pool and resort. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and given a quick rundown of the rooms, hotel layout, all inclusive bars and restaurant. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all buffet style, with lots to choose from, and we enjoyed the food each day. There were plenty of sunbeds, and pool towels were provided. The pool bar and main bar were open every day. Some staff gave good service, especially Nadia and Caesar. The drinks and cocktails were top notch, and the live singers every other night were nice too. We'd return.

On our first visit, from 23rd to 30th October, we found a lovely, clean hotel with polite staff. The bed was very comfortable, and there was plenty of tasty food. The one thing we didn't like was the lunch à la carte. The starters and mains all came out at the same time, and my starter was bigger than my main. I wouldn't have taken that much from a self-serve buffet, so food went to waste. I'd have preferred a buffet where we could choose how much we wanted.

The hotel was lovely and quiet, with terrific staff, and it was spotlessly clean. We had a room with a private pool, which was lovely, but because of its position our area only got afternoon sun. Even in August, the pool was freezing. The guests next to us smoked, so we couldn't leave our doors open because the smell drifted into our room. The food could be much better, as it was cheap quality and tasteless. The evening entertainment could also improve. Even so, I'd definitely recommend the hotel, perhaps with bed and breakfast and a different room next time.

We went for a week all inclusive, and I'd return tomorrow. It was so quiet, laid back and relaxing, with no kids in the hotel, just what we wanted. Our room was lovely, the pool area was large, the staff were welcoming and friendly, and the maid service was excellent. The public areas were very clean, and there was a great gym. Bring your headphones if you want music around the pool. The food was varied and good quality. Breakfast had fantastic choices every morning, and dinner had plenty to pick from, including steak, chicken, pork, paella, salmon and pasta dishes. The lunch restaurant was fantastic, with top class food. Cocktails were well made, and the evening singers were good. The beach and promenade weren't too far, and a nice little train takes you to the main areas of Can Picafort in the evening. Super holiday!
