Hotel JS Yate

The hotel is spotless, and housekeeping comes regularly. They respect the Do Not Disturb sign completely, unlike other hotels I've stayed in. The shower gel smells divine, and since it's available to buy, I'll pick up a couple of bottles for my travel cases. The hotel itself smells lovely too. I arrived on a night when they were full, so I was given a temporary double room. Reception were meant to move me to a single the next day, but said I could stay in the double if I wanted. The place definitely lives up to its 4* rating. Compared with another 4* hotel I stayed at in Turkey, I'd rate this a 7. If I come back to Spain, I'd want to stay here again. Wholeheartedly recommended, and great value for money.

Mealtimes got very busy, so I'd suggest going early. The food was good quality with enough choice, and my room was comfortable and quiet, with very comfy beds. It overlooked the pool, but the balcony didn't get any sun, which didn't bother me since I don't sunbathe. The room was serviced nice and early each day. The sauna and Jacuzzi were good too, though I couldn't get the steam room working and didn't see anyone else use it. I stayed on the 4th Floor in early April 2025, having booked a high-floor room. I picked this hotel because I'd stayed at four other JS Hotels and like them. It was the only JS one open in Can Picafort that early in April. I was there mainly for cycling, and the secure bike storage made it a perfect base. Reception were super friendly and helpful. It was quite busy on my trip, mostly with German guests, which gave me a good reason to practise my German. The hotel was super clean throughout. It's close to the beach and within walking distance of Muro beach. The bus stop is a few minutes away, with frequent buses to Alcudia on the 324. I'd definitely recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Can Picafort and would happily stay again.

The rooms are modern and very nice, and the pool area has good loungers. The hotel spaces are up to date. If you order food, it's tasty and well priced. We were half board but only ate dinner on our first night, and breakfast was okay. My only gripe with the room was the lack of a kettle for morning coffee. It's very close to the beach and also near bars and restaurants, though there's not much else to do around there. I'd recommend it if you're looking to relax. For experiencing Majorca's culture, there are better areas.

The garden was beautiful, and the room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely balcony looking over it. The beach is just a two-minute walk away, and there are lots of shops nearby. The people here were great. I can't eat gluten, and the kitchen staff personally told me every morning and evening what I could have. They gave me gluten-free bread each morning, baked in a separate bag, and were really nice every time.
