Som Llaut Boutique Hotel

Staff were lovely and willing, the rooms were nice, and mine had a balcony, one double bed, and one single for three people. The area is great. It was very quiet when I went in September, with nobody at the bars, so it's best to go out. Breakfast wasn't great, and the hotel closes very early. The pool was so strange: only 0.7m deep, too shallow to dip my whole body, with just four daybeds. It was weird that there was no kettle or iron in the room, and they were shared for everyone. The rooms were cleaned every morning and had fresh towels. Overall, not bad.

We arrived very late, but they had everything arranged so we could get into the hotel and our room without a receptionist there. The double deluxe room had a hot tub and sunbed on the balcony, and it didn't disappoint. It was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast wasn't a huge spread but was tasty and set us up well for the day. The location was perfect, just a 5-7 walk from the beach and main strip. We'll definitely stay again.

The views were absolutely stunning, and the huge bed and pillows were really comfortable. The room was upgraded for free, thank you. The shallow pool was pleasant for cooling off, and with no children allowed it could be good for people who can't swim. The uncrowded areas also made it relaxing. The rooms need work, though. The value for money was the main issue: doors were hanging off their frames, there was black mold in the bathroom, the shower leaked, and basic amenities were missing. Much of the place feels run down and the staff are almost nonexistent, with reception very hard to get hold of, even though the reception staff themselves are very nice and helpful. It was a great holiday, which is why I gave four stars instead of three. Thanks, Llaut. I hope this feedback finds you well.

The basics are good, while the luxury touches seem to be there for the photos. Rooms were clean enough, but the shower windows in the bathrooms are odd, and some bathrooms have neither doors nor ventilation, so smells spread through the whole room. A central courtyard is nice, though only a couple of rooms can access it. The pool looks much bigger in the pictures. In person, it's more like a large bathtub, with a maximum depth of 70cm. There's no real place to hang out at night, but the location makes up for that.
