Obelisc Apartments

The apartment was roomy enough for four, with two bedrooms, a living room, and a balcony. The beds were fine, and it had everything needed for a decent stay: a washing machine, dishwasher, large fridge, electric oven, ceramic hob, filter coffee maker, Dolce Gusto machine, and even an electric kettle. Mercadona is across the street, the beach is about 10 minutes away, and there’s free parking on the one-way street. The building has a mix of tourist lets and long-term residents. I expected more noise, but it was fair. We were there in October, and the nights were chilly. There were no blankets, which surprised me, but the manager sorted that out within a few hours. We were left to manage on our own for 14 days, with no cleaning or fresh bedding and towels. That felt unusual, though having a washing machine made it manageable. The supplies provided were just a starter amount, so we bought what we needed and left what was left over. It felt more like a short long-term rental than the other places I’ve rented around the world. We had what we needed to get by, but elsewhere I’ve found enough towels and linens to last the full stay or longer. I’m taking off a star for that. Hopefully the staff will consider stocking those empty cupboards with spare blankets, pillows, and linens, as you’d usually expect in an unserviced apartment.

Just two minutes from the beach, and the place was clean and spacious. It had all the essentials, including a washing machine and dishwasher.

Apartamentos Obelisc was very quiet at night, and the apartment was comfortable for a good rest. It was clean, nicely decorated, and well equipped. The location also made it easy to get around the city. A very pleasant stay, and a good choice if you want comfort and good service.

I had to cancel a reservation, and they kindly waived the fee because I gave 24 hours’ notice. I can’t speak to the service during a stay, but their customer service was genuinely responsive and accommodating.
