After 13 years away, we were welcomed back like regulars. The restaurant was excellent, the bar service very good, and the entertainment was good, even the bingo at night. Well done to all the staff, they’re what make the hotel work.

The staff were lovely and helpful everywhere, from reception and the restaurant to the bar and cleaning team. The restaurant was bright and comfortable, and they always made a table for our group of 9. There was plenty of good food at every meal, plus the pool snack bar cooked and prepared everything to order. The whole hotel was spotless. Our roomy room was kept very clean, and the big pool had depth areas for different swimming confidence levels and was cleaned daily. The bar staff were friendly and liked to joke with us. Every night had a different entertainment act, with bingo and karaoke for anyone who wanted to join in, plus daily activities and quizzes. I came with a group of ladies for my daughter’s 40th birthday, but I’ll be back soon with my husband. I know he’ll love this fabulous hotel. Thank you to all the amazing staff.

We stayed for a week and it lived up to the reviews. The hotel is very clean, the pools are great, and the staff are really good. It’s small enough to feel personal. The all inclusive deal was very good, but some drinks aren’t included, so check the bar menu. We enjoyed the snack bar, where food is freshly cooked with a good choice if you want a change from the restaurant. There are grassy areas and trees by the pool if you want shade. For a particular poolside spot, you may want to set an alarm, as beds are taken very early and most have towels on them by 7:30. I’d suggest adding more public toilets, since three near reception and one by the pool aren’t really enough when the hotel is busy. It’s a short downhill walk to the front, then level in either direction, nice for an after dinner stroll. I’d definitely recommend it and look forward to going back.

The land train stops right outside and takes you into town and back for €4.50. It runs 9am to 11pm, but check the timetable because it stops for a four-hour siesta in the afternoon. For a laugh, try the massage chairs in reception for 10 minutes (€2). The hotel has clean rooms, great food, a clean pool with loads of loungers, and very friendly staff. The only downside was that the all inclusive package didn’t cover all drinks. They could also update the evening quizzes: we had the same after dinner quiz twice, just two days apart.
