Casablanca Hotel Studios

We often stop here on the way to or from the ferry. The top-floor terraces are great, and there are some thoughtful touches in the service. The rooms are pleasant, though a little tired in places. It’s a bit too far out to walk into Salamanca, and there isn’t really anything else to do besides rest.

Each mini apartment has cooking facilities, and there are cafes and restaurants nearby, though there’s no food on site. Dogs are welcome, and the huge meadow beside the hotel makes it especially good for dog owners. Salamanca is a five-minute drive away, and the park is a 15-minute walk. A really good place to stay when visiting the city or just passing through.

We were all warmly welcomed, and it was a bonus that dogs could stay too. The room was spacious and tidy, and the nearby town has a big, well-kept park within a short walk. WiFi was a little unreliable, and the car park was very narrow and tight. I was glad my partner parked the car, as I’d have felt claustrophobic doing it myself. It suited us well as a simple, comfortable stop for the night, so we could get back on the road fresh and rested in the morning. Great value for money.

The receptionist made us feel very welcome, and dogs are allowed, with a big field right next door. Our terrace room was spotless and spacious, with a huge terrace. The shower was large and very good, and the bed was big and comfortable. It had everything we needed. A perfect place to stay.
