The beds were comfortable, but I expected more from a hotel that was part of our tour. The shower curtain is so cheap that water sprays across the bathroom floor. The coffee bar was slow in the morning, and the air conditioning wasn't working anywhere in the hotel.
Breakfast was the one decent part, though whether you'd like it depends on your taste. The sink and bath were blocked, and the air conditioning barely worked, so the room was unbearably hot at night. Opening the window wasn't an option with all the mosquitoes.
Even a basic request, like asking for a bed cover, seemed impossible. The reception staff were unfriendly and didn't want to help. Such a disappointing stay.
The elevators were so slow that we took the stairs. Around 3 am, people outside the hotel were drinking and shouting loudly, with no respect for the guests. The A/C didn't work either. At breakfast, a hotel employee kept watching everyone's every move, which was really annoying. He looked like a police officer. My gosh.
The location worked well for us because we had a car, with a supermarket about 10 minutes away and Barcelona city center around 20 minutes away. We stayed three nights in August and found the hotel fine for the price, with the basics needed for a comfortable night. The room was clean and the furnishings were good, though it could use a hair dryer. We didn't try the food. Breakfast seemed expensive for the limited menu options.
