Sunset Beach

I wanted to book with this agency again this year, in the same sunflower beach apartment, but the stay turned out to be awful. The place was filthy: floors hadn't been swept, the bathroom tiles had dirty water streaks, and the sheets had hair on them. The crib I requested had no mattress. Even the washing machine was too grimy to use. The dark curtains barely blocked anything, and there was no hot water for our entire stay, with a seven-year-old and a baby there. After the first night, we woke up covered in bites. When we went to a health center, they said they were flea bites from the mattresses. It's disgraceful to have to deal with this on a vacation, especially when holidays cost so much. We called Ismael, the agency contact, and they said it was impossible and suggested we'd picked them up at the beach or somewhere. But we hadn't gone anywhere or explored on the first day. That response showed a lack of professionalism, and they moved us to another apartment. It was tiny for four people, a stroller and all our luggage, even though we'd paid for five days. We could only stay there for three. We left unhappy, and they haven't even hinted at a refund. I won't return.

We rented on Valladolid Street in July, after renting from them two years ago in Beach. The team is top-notch: Adina was warm and helpful, Carlos is a wonderful person, and Ismael dealt with any issues or suggestions we sent by WhatsApp straight away. The air conditioning was already on when we arrived. Their outside maintenance services don't meet the standard, but if you report a problem respectfully and promptly, the team sorts it out. We hope to come back soon.

We stayed for 10 days in June with four people and had a wonderful time. The apartment faces the port, and the beach is only about 20 steps away. There's a good choice of places to eat and go out along the promenade. The agency was attentive and made sure we were comfortable. We'd definitely return.

Toni was very kind and attentive, and gave us some recommendations. Our apartment on Salamanca Street in Santa Pola was lovely, with two bathrooms and a terrace. They had switched on the air conditioning before we got there, so it was cool inside. It was across from Pola Park, near the beach and salt flats, and parking was easy. We'd definitely stay again.
