Hotel Los Pinos

The pool and beach area are really nice, and breakfast was good. Reception staff were friendly too. The rooms are very outdated and long overdue for an update. It works if all you need is a place to sleep, but it isn’t suited to anyone after comfort, a bit of luxury, or a modern feel and tech.

We had a great holiday at Caprici. The hotel is close to the sea and train station, and our room had a lovely view. The balconies are a little small, but with that view it wasn’t a problem. Staff were very friendly, and it was a lovely surprise when they brought a cake to dinner for my little daughter’s birthday. They really seem to care about their guests. Our dog was welcome too, with a nice gift from the hotel. The terrace bar had interesting evenings with lots of live music. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay and especially liked the beach view from our room. The pool was lovely too. The spa and gym were closed while we were there, but it was still a great holiday, and I don’t recognise the bad reviews from our own positive experience. The location is great for anyone who loves the beach. Tip: rent a car in advance to explore the area around Santa Susanna.

There were some good points: the hotel is on the beach, near the train station for getting to Barcelona, and the pool area is a plus. But the rest of our stay was a letdown. Our flight was delayed, so we arrived late, and nobody offered dinner or even a glass of water. The room was run-down and not very clean, with one power outlet, a fridge that leaked, and less space than advertised. Food was repetitive and poor quality. The sausages were worse than pet food, and every cake tasted the same. There was hardly any entertainment, and we weren’t offered a takeaway meal on departure day. The hotel looks nothing like the photos. I’m very disappointed and definitely don’t recommend it.
