The bathroom in Oceania has a sewage smell so strong that the room feels impossible to stay in. It's much worse than the "a bit" of a smell mentioned in other reviews, and even with the window open it made sleeping difficult. The place looks clean, and the cleaner is friendly, so I don't think the problem is about cleaning.

Everything in Santander feels close from this little aparthotel, right in the city centre. Supermarkets nearby make longer stays easy, and the beach is about a 20-minute walk away, with Centro Botin only five minutes away. The staff were friendly and the place was very clean. The rooms have all the useful kit: coffee maker, hob, kettle, microwave, juicer, dishwasher, washing machine, and a large fridge. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed the well-located two-room suite and found the staff helpful. There isn't hotel parking, but there's an arrangement with a nearby lot for €15 overnight. I parked on the street instead. You pay only from 10-14 and 16-20, for up to two hours at a time, at €1.65. Make sure to use a blue-line space.

Just a heads-up, check that you booked the right place. This isn't the Art Hotel; the names are similar, but they're separate properties, and this one is a boutique hotel. There are several rooms on one floor with reception just outside the door. You can hear people moving around upstairs, so it may not suit you if you need quiet.

Such a lovely place to stay, very clean and easy to find in a good location. The staff were really helpful.
