8/10
The hotel was close to the harbor and the half-marathon starting point, which was the main reason I chose it for a night while visiting a friend and running the race. It was fine for a quick stay, and I'm sure there are better rooms. Mine was tiny with no view, and the hotel didn't seem particularly well cared for. The bathroom showed clear water damage and smelled moldy.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's a beautiful, quiet and very clean hotel, with comfortable rooms and a central location along the promenade, close to everything.

We stayed for seven days and enjoyed every minute, especially after upgrading to a front room with a fabulous view. The cleanliness was impressive, and the reception staff were brilliant. The bar staff looked after us while we sat outside in the sun watching the world go by. Tino was especially good, always smiling and helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, even giving directions to places of interest.

Don't trust what Booking.com says. Rosa at reception told me the room I'd booked and paid for online wasn't available. Be careful with this hotel, they are scammers.

The location is excellent, and we'd happily stay here again. Our room at the Vinci Puerto chico was a little small but cozy, while the bathroom was quite large. Public parking right outside was a plus, and the staff were nice, with some thoughtful touches. We didn't have breakfast. The great location alone makes me highly recommend it.
