We had the whole property as a family group, which worked really well. It consists of three apartments, so we could have our own space when we wanted. The accommodation was clean and tidy, with good-quality linen and towels. The bay views are lovely, and the place is quiet, with an easy walk to quality bars and restaurants. The one downside is that the water for showers and washing is saline, and air-conditioning is only in the main living area. During our visit there was an extreme heatwave, 35°C and above, so the nights were uncomfortable. Air-conditioning in the other areas would be good. Still, I’m happy to recommend this lovely place.

The service was great, everyone welcoming us with a smile. It’s a lovely Italian restaurant in the marina, and I’d recommend it if you’re after good pizza and salad. If you like spicy food, ask for the chili oil, it’s amazing on the pizza. Finish with the tiramisu. Yum!

The terrace really made this apartment for us. There was loads of room to lounge, eat, read, and hang out, plus balconies and steps straight down to the rocks and into the sea. Water shoes are a good idea. The apartment was spotless, well equipped, and had comfortable beds. We were a group of friends there over May Day and were thrilled with it. Portopetro is a charming, established town with good infrastructure and no high-rise hotels taking over. The small Spar has everything for day-to-day needs, and the cheerful, helpful saleswomen were a treat. We found several very good restaurants within walking distance. Communication with the agency was smooth, quick, and always incredibly friendly. The owners also offered an early check-in and late check-out, which we were glad to accept.

We had the whole house, all three apartments, for a family holiday, and it suited us perfectly. Every balcony and terrace had a stunning sea view, as did all four bedrooms. We spent breakfast together each morning on the big lower terrace and barbecued there in the evening while the sun went down. There’s direct access to the sea. Everything was clean and well equipped, and free parking was available. Fresh rolls were an easy walk away each morning. The hosts communicated well, and online check-in worked smoothly. Truly top-notch for us!
