We stopped for lunch on the way to Cala Mondragó, and it was a lovely surprise. The food was the most delicious I’ve had in Mallorca, and the prices were really good, especially compared with the bars by the beach. The staff were very nice and even let us use their pool after lunch. Totally recommended!

People return year after year, sometimes for 20 years or more, and I can see why. It’s under five minutes on foot from a lovely beach, the staff are very friendly, and the pool, bar and food are all perfectly decent in an unpretentious way. It’s a one-star place, but within its category it’s as good as anywhere I’ve stayed. The rooms are spacious, with balconies and bathrooms that have both baths and showers. If you’re on a budget and want a friendly, no-frills stay in a lovely location, I strongly recommend it.

I was just stung by a wasp in their garden, and when I asked for ice they refused to give me any. There’s no fridge in the room or even a shared one in the hall, like hostels usually have. Very friendly attitude when it’s 37 degrees outside. Enjoy!

My passport was taken at reception to be scanned and then wasn’t returned to me. I searched everywhere before making a lot of international calls, only to find out they’d had it the whole time. Between those calls and expedited shipping, getting it back cost me $150. The same thing happened to a German woman that night. I’d never return and wouldn’t recommend the place to anyone. The bed hurt my husband’s back, the breakfast made me sick to my stomach a few hours later, and both the room and bathroom were extremely outdated. I’d hoped the price would be semi-reasonable, but don’t waste your time and money.
