EDO at Ona Village Cala d'Or, Mallorca, Balearics

The apartment was huge and had everything needed for a self-catering holiday. The master bed was massive and very comfortable, and the bathroom was great, with Jack and Jill sinks and a Bidet. There’s a lovely pool area with a pool bar and excellent staff. A bonus was the TV in the master bedroom wardrobe, which actually had BBC in English.

The place was spotless, with bright white bed linen and three towels per person. Our one-bedroom apartment also had two TVs and two air conditioners. In the kitchen, we found all the utensils, two pans, an electric stove, a washing machine and a dishwasher, plus fresh sponges, detergent and laundry powder. The only little flaw was that the outdoor chair cushions were a bit dirty. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Thanks to the man at reception, whose name I unfortunately didn’t get, for explaining everything and giving us extra oil. We’d give this place 100 out of 10 stars, and we’ll be back!

You can walk to the restaurants and shops in about two minutes, and the apartment sits between two lovely beaches. It was a lovely place to stay, and the air conditioning kept it nice and cool.

The studio felt basic and a bit worn, so I’d pick at least a one-bedroom apartment if comfort matters. I saw one of those and it was lovely. The location is great, close to two beaches. Reception staff were lovely, and the people at the pool bar Tic Tac couldn’t do enough for us.
