Hotel Rocamar

Our room had a lovely view, and the place was clean and well kept for the price. The lady at reception was delightful and really helpful. We don't speak Spanish, but she helped us book a very nice restaurant yesterday.

That lovely welcome from the gentleman at reception each evening really made us feel at home. We were extremely happy with our stay, and the view was absolutely stunning. We'd love to come back.

I really don't get why this place has only two stars. The rooms are simple, sure, but clean and have what you need: a great shower, balcony with an incredible view, TV and fridge. The pool and terrace seating are top notch, and there’s a lovely bar and lounge too. Staff are super friendly, the location is as good as you could want, and the views are stunning. I’ve stayed in four-star places that weren’t as good, and even some five-star hotels left me less impressed. It deserves at least three stars, maybe four. Parking in the surrounding side streets was fine, so the lack of a hotel car park really wasn't a problem.

The hotel was quiet, neat and the owner was really kind to me, even though I was alone and a foreigner. There’s an ATM, pharmacy and SPAR supermarket nearby. My room was spacious and had a TV, though the refrigerator wasn't for guest use and there was no kettle. The pool has sunbeds and a great view. As at other Spanish hotels, there's a €2.20 per night tax to pay on arrival, so you may want to have cash or coins ready.
