Sol Cala D'Or Apartments

We had a fantastic four-day break in September and felt we got good value for the money. The hotel is in a great spot for walking to the beach, shops and bars, and our clean, well-equipped room overlooked the pool. The pool area is spacious, with a separate children's pool and a lifeguard, which was a welcome bonus. There were plenty of sunbeds when we visited, even later in the day, though I imagine it gets much busier in summer. The friendly hotel bar had snacks and a good selection of beers and spirits at reasonable prices. The staff were pleasant and friendly, and we'd definitely return.

We loved our week here and plan to come back next year. The apartment was clean and lovely, and the staff made us feel welcome. We enjoyed the pool every minute, and the location worked well for the beach, shops and pubs. One of the best places I've stayed on holiday. Thanks, I'd absolutely recommend it.

The customer service manager really came through when we had a small problem and compensated us generously. Even after we'd left the resort, she helped us contact a local bar to get a cocktail recipe, which was above and beyond. The hotel is about 150m from the main beach, between the two main areas for food, shopping and entertainment. There's a decent pool and cafe bar, and breakfast offers an eclectic mix of European items.

We had a really relaxed, pleasant stay at Sol Cala D'or Apartments. We got in around 1am, but the man at reception personally showed us to our room and explained everything. It felt much more welcoming than places that leave a key and send a text. The pool is huge and deep, with lots of loungers, though some guests put towels on them to reserve them each day and then don't seem to use them. There's a small pool bar with good drinks, including draught cruzcampo, at moderate prices.
