A very nice place to stay for a reasonable price - hotel "Castelao AP" is located in Santiago de Compostela. This hotel is located in walking distance from the city center. You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel — North University Campus, Colegio La Salle and Convento de San Francisco de Santiago.

The beds were super comfortable, and the apartment was generally clean. It’s about 15 minutes from the Cathedral. There were loads of mosquitoes, and they were incredibly bothersome at night. The owner knew this could happen but didn’t tell us beforehand that there was mosquito repellent in the apartment. The rooms also have no blinds, so daylight comes in as soon as dawn breaks. That didn’t bother us.

After the last stage of the Camino, this was a good place to stay. The city bus makes it easy to get to the city center and to both the train and bus stations.

The facilities were really well equipped, and the location was perfect. We did have some check-in trouble because of a misunderstanding.
